Bjork's new album is out in less than a month...and her first song is now available! For the one of you who might be interested...here it is!
It sounds like a return to her more energetic Debut era stuff with more maturity. I'm excited again! (unlike the feeling I had after the first week of listening to Medulla.)
On a more personal note, last night I decided to convince my friends to an album release concert and art show that was happening in a big rock club in Boston. The band was a local hipster-ish band named "The Everyday Visuals" and I actually had a fantastic time. I had several oversized PBRs, watched 3 or 4 bands (Hippie folk singing white chick, an awesome Jett Rink-ish high energy rock band, a hipster band who sounded indistinguishable from any of the Killers/Franz Ferdinand/Interpol/Stellastarr genre, and finally the Everyday Visuals)...and just had a blast.
I totally missed being in clubs and seeing shows.
Anyhow, it's work time! Back to lawlaw land....sigh.

There is a new Iranian indie rock band called Hypernova playing in NYC clubs. You might want to check them out during your summer break!?
