I was just reading an article about Obama's overtures to the Iranian people, which, win or lose, seems like such an incredibly smart and correct move to make. And then suddenly buried my face in my hands:
Do you remember when George Bush decided to label Iran part of the Axis of Evil?
What the fuck!? The "Axis." Fucked up given the history of the world.
Of. Ok that's kinda neutral.
Evil. Um. Did he just declare an entire country and its people to be Evil?
Evil!?
Anyway that's over now. Back to watching Deadwood at 8 am because I passed out, cell phone in hand, until it dropped onto the ground, directly under my bed...until the alarm decided to go off at 8 am and force me to get out of bed and scramble onto my hands and knees to find the source of this irritating and unlocatable sound.
