Kudos and praise to John McCain for his classy and gentlemanly concession speech. I continue to think that McCain is simply a good man pre- and post-campaign.
I agree--I liked him back in 2000 and feel like the Republican election machine really took him over this time around. His speech was classy as hell. The goosebumps, however, were reserved for hearing 50 bajillion people chant back, "Yes we can!" in Grant Park. Also Obama mentioned a puppy in his speech, which makes him my favorite president-elect, forever.
M.: Are you now emily again? And indeed, the mention of the puppy was fantastic.
MH: Don't photos usually come out backwards? If not, it was my Mac photo. AND...I had a hoodie tied around my waist. But then Obama won the presidency, so I took it off. Then took the picture.
I think I just post via my Gmail acct, and then it goes through the tubes and comes out with an "Emily" attached to it. I don't know how it works. I'm too old.
