Devolving into a low level hannity and colmes would be a lot of fun. Of course, I see us more as an Abbott and Costello. One of us is invariably right (Abbott) and puts up with the buffoonery of the other (Costello). And I am so Abbott.
The reason I don't have my own blog is because I am so busy. Unlike a certain Harvahhhhd student, I refuse to rest on my laurels and to surrender my ideals to a big firm paycheck, but am instead doing my damndest to start my own firm and make it profitable.
Further, I prefer to post my musings on your blog, where they hopefully piss you off. Of course, if you wanted to give me admin privileges, I would use said privileges to occasionally post items reflective of my own intellectual brilliance and humility.

Heh. Well, mainly because I realized that I CAN. And upon doing so, promptly changed the name of the blog several times.
Second, because the astute will realize the label ADM no longer properly applies, instead it should be...well.

Just to be absolutely clear about this: It sounds like your ideals ARE a big paycheck.

The large paycheck I'm going to earn is a corallary to the successful practice I hope to establish, but not the reason d'etre of my existence.
I've never been clear how building an artificial entity that generates a paycheck is different than simply taking a paycheck.
...Unless there is some larger purpose to the entity, in which case, those entities don't generally have any reasonable connection to a paycheck.
You miss the key. BECAUSE I BUILT IT.
