At least Bridget Moynihan had a good night...

...as History was robbed by a douchebag.

As you can probably surmise, I am NOT happy that the Pats lost the Super Bowl. Besides the profound sense of disappointment about the loss of a perfect season for the Pats, I am probably equally upset that of ALL the people who could have caused this outcome, it was fucking ELI MANNING that did it. (There is only one other person in the world I would have wanted to win the Super Bowl less, and that is supremo-Douchebag number 1, Philip Rivers.)

In any case, I dread the onslaught of stupid pointless commercials starring Eli Manning that will certainly fill the year. The constant chatter of analysis of how Eli managed this one. More talk about Eli, Eli, Eli......ugh.

I do not like him. Suck.

I disagree. I was rooting for the underdog. And how can you root for cheaters anyways? You probably love Barry Bonds and Mark McGuire as well. The Giants were the better team last night. It was great seeing pretty boy Brady on his butt time after time.

BTW, the Boston Globe just reported that the Patriots illegally taped the Rams walk through before their Super Bowl a few years back--and the Patriots won in an upset--20 to 17. They deserved to get beat this year. Ha!

Talking about pretty boy Brady, if you want to talk about a charmed existence, I think Eli is your man.

I also DO NOT like Barry Bonds and Mark McGuire, but less because they are cheaters, and more because I think major league baseball ranks among the lamest things on earth, next to Philip Rivers and one legged dogs. Plus, dey ugly.

Ya know, I used to feel that way about baseball too...And I still think that the NFL and the NBA are still superior to baseball b/c of their collective bargaining agreements and revenue sharing that better levels the playing field. (And as a sidenote, college football beats them all). But all that being said, I am starting to like MLB more and more--I really enjoy going to the games in the summer, relaxing, and having a brew.

I definitely enjoy going to a baseball game with friends in the summertime...although I admit it has more to do with the beer and hot dogs than with the game I barely watch.

But to me, people who sit at home and watch baseball on TV, fall nicely into the same box as those who watch NASCAR on TV.
