My First CSA Share has arrived!
I got an email from the farmer saying that today was going to be a light delivery since it was the very first harvest of the year. Despite the fact that this delivery was "light" by normal standards, I'm quite pleased considering the fact that the vegetables covered half of my entire coffee table.

From the left to the right: Mustard greens, pea tendrils (yum), Spinach, and Arugula. He said a variety of new vegetables would be coming up next week...so I'm definitely excited about that. Ok, enough, time to cook and eat! Tonight: Stir-Fry pea tendrils and Rice!

Check out this article. With the exception of the brief mention of the Jim Johnson thing (which I think we reached a consensus on - most of the country didn't notice), the second half of the article is the most intriguing, and falls somewhat in line with our conversation yesterday.

Not bad...
And call me a deleting ass monkey, but I managed to train you to behave correctly...
With arugula, you're probably best off just tossing it lightly with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar...then maybe topping it with some sort of balsamic grilled chicken.
Awesome. That's the only green I have left. I turned the mustard greens into a casserole, the spinach into chinese side dish, the pea tendrils into stir fry, and now the arugula will be done as such.
