Oh, and Saxby Chambliss won the Georgia runoff, so thankfully the Democrats won't hit the magic number in the Senate (I'm not going to explain why I think it would be a bad idea for the Dems to get 60, but I do despite my utter repudiation of the mold of the current Republican party). Just three (eight?) words after being otherwise ok the Republican victory...

I might have agreed with you if it were someone else, but Saxby Chambliss is a HORRIBLE person. He's a backwards, redneck, flag-totin', gun-wavin' racist asshole who whores out "patriotism" for his own personal gain.
Fuck that guy. He is everything that is wrong with this country and the personification of all the worst stereotypes about politicians.
