I think I've recovered! I'm still a little sore, but I think everything else is in order. Now I'm debating with myself over whether I should crack a beer as I watch a game of football in HD.
...tough. On a side note, I think I've actually lost weight from not drinking any beer in the last 3 days...which, since it is the weekend, could add up to a total of, what, 15 to 20 beers? (That or I lost weight from having only consumed 1000 calories since Thursday). I've basically spent all of today doing exactly what I did the past two sick days...watching TV from the couch. However, I was able to sit up and do some cleaning too rather than getting too cold and woozy to be able to sit up straight.
In other news, I watched Hellboy 2: The Golden Army today. I actually really enjoyed the last Hellboy movie, which I had absolutely zero interest in seeing (but bought because I was living by myself in India and needed something to watch while washing my clothes by hand in my bathroom.) Although the movie is not without random flaws, I thought the movie was pretty amazing. It's sorta like mashing together Pan's Labyrinth, The Matrix, and Men in Black (without the Barry Sonnenfeld) into this gigantic, swirling ball of trippy pandelerium. I mean, for God's Sakes....Hellboy fights a Forest God ("An Elemental") under the Brooklyn Bridge - that's entertainment.
Ok...I'm going to recover with Hookah and Alcohol.

hehe, i saw hellboy II in the theater on my birthday. i could watch that movie with the sound off. guillermo del toro is so awesome. do you realize that in addition to pan's labyrinth and hellboy, he also did blade II. i just find that amusing. also, his movie the orphanage is terrifying. and lastly, just google a picture of him and tell me if you don't just want to hug him.

That was a reference to The Office. When they go all anti-drug and Michael draws up a list of illegal drugs, "Hookah" is included on the list. Unfortunately, it's Toby who points out that it's not an illegal drug, so you can guess how receptive Michael is to the information.
