First, I had the pleasure of seeing Frost/Nixon. It was excellent. And jesus christ, that Frank Langella is one hell of an actor. I suggest you take the time to see it, not because it carries any deep lessons, but just because I think it's a good movie worth seeing. But probably not on the big screen...instead, you should go see
THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL! NUMBER ONE IN THE BOX OFFICE BITCHES!!! For the record, in case you've forgotten or in case you are new, I will consistently and earnestly defend Keanu Reeves' honor with ferocity and admantine resolve. I am keenly aware of his shortcomings and I make no claim on his talents. But damn, I support Keanu Reeves. Reviews for this movie have made me laugh out loud everytime I see them. ALL of the reviews are all similar (and funny). Here are some examples of the idea conveyed in every review you will read:
- The best part of this movie is Keanu Reeves. He plays an alien who doesn’t talk much and shows no emotion. I really think he has found his perfect role.
- I even liked Keanu Reeves, who has often been unfairly accused of robotic acting. Intentionally or not, his performance here subtly tweaks those accusations.
- On the plus side, Reeves is relatively well cast as an affectless alien. One can only hope that in the future he will devote himself to playing androids, less-self-aware species of undead, stylish pieces of contemporary furniture, and other roles that do not require the exhibition of any recognizably human traits.
In other news, I am very impressed with GWB's ability to dodge thrown shoes by Iraqis. I have to admit that I probably would have gotten a very fearful awkward face (like the one I get when pigeon dodging) and had a momentary panic the instant someone stood up in Iraq and started yelling and making sudden movements. I would have embarrassed the shit out of myself. Instead, Bush quite gracefully dodged the first shoe and wasn't all that bothered by the second. Furthermore, as soon as security came over, he brushed them off to the side. Now I hate that fucking man and everything he stands for and has done to this world...but I'm a little impressed. (Note: He completely undid the cool factor by his verbal response to the incident afterwards.)

If you like Frank Langella, you should revisit Masters of the Universe. Some of his greatest work there.
Was he skeletor? Or was he that mega man looking guy? I forget.
I'm sure you can remember the URL to IMDB.
I share the sentiments on KR. You might be interested to know that Mr. Reeves was selected to play Spike in the forthcoming Cowboy Bebop movie... http://www.ifmagazine.com/new.asp?article=7303
