The one thing that Boston makes me really appreciate is Spring. I think I used to take blue skies, sunbeams, and weather above 60 degrees for granted. Now...when I wake up and see blue skies and sun, all I want to do is walk around doing nothing, run errands, smoke cigars outside, take a long run, ignore my studies, and waste lots and lots of time instead of studying.
So that's exactly what I did. I got up, went shopping at my local hippie grocery store, bought some fruit, coffee, pastrami, a bagel, and some smoked whitefish (my new favorite bagel spread learned from my Jewish friends...) and promptly came home and sat in my backyard smoking a left over cigar from the Bachelor party in DC (a nice Davidoff).
After that, I thought...what better way to waste time than to take a run? So...I walked 30 minutes to school to get my running shoes, then walked another 15 minutes to the Charles River,
and took a nice leisurely run, nicely captured by this little box....Then...I came home and decided to shower, do laundry, blog, and eat some more whitefish instead of doing my work...Plus, I'll be going out tonight, so I basically have an hour to work...despite the crushing pressure of exams.
And that's my life.
P.S. I found this picture of CARVED CRAYONS on Andrew Sullivan's blog. Joey, I think you must a little slow on the uptake if this hasn't appeared yet. (His name is Pete Goldlust)

No, you're schmoopy? I realize that's probably been there forever, but what the hell is the matter with you?
