So at the tail-end of my interview session, on a Friday afternoon, with lawyers who ranged from the obviously miserable with their jobs, to those who seemed enthusiastic about their work...I received my first offer! The interviews didn't go particularly well, and this was the most prestigious of the firms with which I interviewed, and they just said "well...you have an offer."
So...just a little minor boo-yah because now my backup firm is the top of the firms with which I interviewed!
(although 5 years ago in the superlatives category they were known as the "worst firm to work for in the country"...so we shall see)
Anyway, I'm at a Kinko's using the internet because my hotel is charging 10 bucks a day for wireless and I'm totally not up to that...so I gotta run.
