Sounds like normal blog post title about to say something faux-weighty...but it's actually just a brief message to proclaim that I've clearly gained weight...again...due to the law school lifestyle.
Unfortunately, I'm not actually working so hard that there is a clear tradeoff. In actuality, I'm watching a lot of television and eating any food in my apartment. Life is good.
Or not.
Oh. And jesus christ. A 100 dollar tab a day in a 4-star hotel with room service is such an exacerbating circumstance.

Yes. No class. They call it "Flyout Week." An entire week to gallivant around NYC getting wined, dined, and wooed. I just had an 80 dollar dinner, and two glasses of excellent wine with two SASMF associates. And another lunch with DPW tomorrow!
But this is just so you won't run in terror from working twice as long as attorneys in other cities for 1.5 the pay, and twice the cost of living....although there will be a whole summer of more wining and dining. And with Ashley in the city with another great firm, we get double social events.
And Jerk? No. You will be doing the same soon enough. You two planning to hit up the NYC market for the first few years?
