I do find a lot of the things he says, and the actions his government takes to be disgusting, but I don't actually hate him. Of course, I don't really care about him all that much either. I think a lot of my indifference to him is that most reliable sources indicate that he actually doesn't have all that much power. He runs the civil government of Iran, but Ayatollah Ali Khamenei still holds absolute power...and can basically slap ol' Mahmoo-cow out of office and out of power whenever he feels like it. For fuck's sake, his title is Supreme Leader. (Incidentally, even Khamenei allows stem cell research and cloning, according to Wikipedia, and believes in economic privatization...Go figure.)The real point of this post is to point out that President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad....has a blog. No. Seriously.
Here's an eloquent response to his posts...

hmm.. Im not sure how I feel about what happened...to me it seems so random that he would speak at Columbia on his way to the UN and ironically get the hard questions in a student forum instead of at the world leader's summit...something about that whole scenario just doesn't sit well with me...
Yeah...I know what you mean, although I feel like a speech at a university is far more in line with his ideas of publicly undermining Western ideals than speaking to a bunch of gov't officials.
I also wanted to note that it's interesting how Khameini's circle almost immediately contradicted Mahmoud-ring after his statements about wiping Israel off the face of the earth.
If it helps at all, Mahmoo-nwalk is only 5'2". That's crazy short. (I've added a new picture to show these facts.)
