Ding Dong...

...the stupid, ridiculous, revenue-killing, readership-ending, loyalty-crushing BITCH called TimesSelect is DEAD!!!!!!!!

I remember the days when I read the NYTimes columnists on a daily basis. This was back in the day when William Safire was the resident conservative and Nicholas Kristof hadn't yet descended into making me want to smack him all of the time. And Krugman still wrote about economics. (Incidentally, the fact that Kristof i's married to an Asian women, albeit a very impressive Asian woman, doesn't surprise me.)

I actually wonder if I'm going to go back and read the NYTimes columns anymore...I remember feeling uneasy when the service first came on and trying to find the columns any other way...but as time has gone on, I stopped reading them completely, and because I stopped reading them, I even started to slowly turn away from the NYTimes Online. Boy, that sure was the stupidest thing attempted by a group of seemingly smart people.

See, I could never get that to work. I tried, but it still didn't let me in.
